The family of Judith REVILLASC Lachau is originally from Piedmont (Revigliasco) which was born in the year 1226, Teucy Etnisy of REVILLASC (Sosa 8192), The most distant ancestor of Judith. His ancestry spans thirteen generations in which there are 34 characters in 22 men and 13 women. found myself this past summer in full genealogical research in BELLEGARDE DIOIS, I stumbled on the death certificate of Judith REVILLASC Lachau.
When I got home, I realized that her husband David BUIS they happen to be the ancestors of my 8th paternal grandfather.
His descent has been established from the "Armorial High Alpine" Mr. GROSDIDIER of MATONS.

1 - Judith REVILLASC of Lachau , daughter of John (1625 -> 1695), Marshal quartermaster of the regiment Anery, Farmer-General of the Priory of Romette , and Mary BLAIN (1630 -> 1698), born in Aspres sur Buëch Aspres sur Buëch August 8, 1665 , she was admitted to baptism , Aspres sur Buëch the same day, died to Bellegarde in Diois Montlahuc Chapel (where there is no record of his burial) on 1 January 1737 , at the age of sixty-two years. At twenty-eight years she was married in 1693 with David BUIS , born about 1643 , Bellegarde-en-Diois, died April 5, 1728 at Bellegarde in Diois.
