Former known family since the fourteenth century. Gaëtan Fortunée had only one daughter (1885) who married the Earl of Clement Alziary Malausséna. Anthony also had an only daughter Elizabeth (1904) which was the last member of this noble family and was married to Auguste Comte Avet.
